hroughout the Jakes property you’ll see tile artiste Ronda Darlyn’s lovely mosaics. There are sample tile projects on display at Jakes office and at the restaurant. Like what you see? Why not sign up for a poolside workshop? Ronda will supply all the materials and show you how to master the craft. Using Ronda’s uniquely cut “shaped” tiles, you’ll create your own mini-masterpiece to take home. You’ll learn all about different tiles, adhesives, surfaces and even a few of Ronda’s mosaic tiling secrets. Expect to have fun while enjoying the cool breeze and exquisite seascape—all while learning the art of mosaic tiling.

Mini-masterpiece mosaic tile “play” shop with Jakes mosaic tile artiste Ronda Darlyn. Learn the art of mosaic tiling. All materials are supplied and each participant takes home their own-made eight-inch-by-eight-inch trivet or mirror.
